Robotics Technician – ROBOTICOM NORTH AMERICA

Full Job Description:

We are seeking a Robotics Technician for ROBOTICOM NORTH AMERICA Headquarter, located in Duncan, South Carolina

Position Overview:

      ROBOTICOM designs, engineers, and offers to the market innovative robotic solutions. With our know-how and the experience gained in more than 20 years in the business, we can satisfy every need for automation in many different fields, offering custom made robotic solutions for every single customer.

      To keep up with growing demand we are looking for experienced technician to assemble & install our robots, train how to work and operate our systems, service and support our customers when needed.

     Traveling up to 50% of working time across North America for installations, training, and service. For remainder of the time, work from Duncan office on new systems, spare parts, online training, and customers technical support.

Requirements and Responsibilities:

  • Experience with ABB Robots and SIEMENS PLC’s are highly Preferred, ideally have 3-5 years of PLC Technician experience with electrical/mechanical background
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints
  • Use the multimeter to check the connection, loose wires, and voltage
  • Travel required up to 50% to customer locations (Expenses covered by the employer)
  • Work in close contact with the design team and customer’s technicians
  • Install and troubleshoot robotic systems at customer’s site for North American market
  • Understand the inner working of robots, pneumatic systems, and various cutting tools
  • Troubleshoot, read, and edit PLC logic
  • Provide technical support for existing customers via online ticketing system

Education:

  • Associate (Preferred)

Experience:

  • PLC / Robotics Technician: 4 years (Preferred)
  • Blueprint reading: 4 years (Preferred)
  • Electrical/Mechanical: 4 years (Preferred)
  • Control Panels: 4 years (Preferred)
  • Wiring: 4 years (Preferred)

Salary: $65 – $75 k / Year

Job Type: Full-time

Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
(Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required depending on the needs of the business)

Bi-Monthly pay periods (2 Times per Month)
